This refers to the availability of jobs or positions in the workforce that offer individuals the chance to earn a living and contribute to society. These opportunities vary across industries, regions, and sectors, and they can be influenced by factors such as economic growth, technological advancements, education, and government policies and are essential for economic development and social stability, providing individuals with income, skill development, and the chance to improve their quality of life. They also play a critical role in reducing poverty, addressing unemployment and promoting social inclusion. Our key strategies for Employment generation are:
We will run programs and run skill centres to train people in trades such as tailoring, carpentry, plumbing, data entry and more. These will enhance employability and open doors to self–employment.
SHGs (Self–Help Groups), especially among women, promote savings, credit and small–scale business activities like handicrafts and food processing.
We will run livelihood programs, craft centres and cooperative ventures to help people earn through local resources. We also propose to connect EWS entrepreneurs directly to markets via e–commerce platforms.
Training in digital skills (e.g., data entry, digital marketing, freelancing) will help youth hailing from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) of Society to tap into the online income opportunities.
We organize free health check-ups, distribute essentials like sanitary napkins, and run awareness programs across rural Bengal to fight chronic diseases and health illiteracy.
We provide civil and criminal legal support to economically weaker sections and raise awareness about rights, helping communities access justice and protect themselves from exploitation.
We offer skill development, vocational training, and digital literacy programs to promote self-employment and connect underprivileged youth and women to local and online job opportunities.
